The Man Who Thinks He Can

Believe in yourself!

The Man Who Thinks He Can

By Walter D. Wintle

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t,
If you like to win, but think you can’t,
It’s almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a person’s will-
It’s all in a state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can!

I remember the first time I read this poem; it was truly awe inspiring! For some reason this piece of work had a great impact on me and has stuck with me ever since. I read it over and over until I had it completely memorized and could recite it on the spot. That was over a decade ago and it is still crystal clear in my mind to this day.

This inspiring composition is a reminder of the amazing power of belief. Everything that you do or do not do is the result of your belief that you can or can’t. If you think that you can accomplish something and truly believe this to be true than that is the reality that you create. Your reality is what ever you choose it to be.

My message to you is to believe in yourself. Truly love yourself and believe that you can do anything in life, no matter how big or challenging it may be. With faith nothing is impossible; I am a testament to this statement and I wish the same for you. Believe!

Be Unstoppable!
Yours in Success,

I’m touched by this poem, it truly sends a very strong message. We have to learn to accept ourselves as we are. If we suffer from a low esteem or doesn’t believe in ourselves we are never going to be happy in life. In order to be successful and happy in life we have to know our worth and what we’re capable of doing.
