I’m sure that you have probably heard the phrase if you are familiar with the Law of Attraction and perhaps you may even know how much applying it can change your life.
But what exactly it means and how it pertains to using the Law of Attraction?
Let’s take a closer look at this profound magnetic law that governs the Universe.
Like Attracts Like
The most fundamental principle behind the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like. You can easily compare it to a magnet, whose opposing poles attract. The only difference is, unlike the opposite attraction of magnetic poles, like attracts like in the case of the LOA.
Let’s put this in the real world.
You attract like people, situations and everything else that surrounds you in your world right now.
If your thoughts are predominantly negative, then in turn you attract negative people and negative situations into your life.
If, on the other hand, you think predominantly positive thoughts, you will in turn attract positive people, places and things in all areas of your life.
Remember the saying “birds of feather flock together”? This is a perfect example of the Law of Attraction in action. Like people will tend to attract like people and so on.
Watch What You Think
Now, just the same as like people attracting like people holds true, your thoughts will tend to follow this law also. When you start to think negative thoughts in your head then this will in turn attract more negative thoughts and then the cycle continues.
Have you ever noticed how if you start ruminating about something bad that has happened you start feeling bad feelings also? Then thoughts supporting those bad thoughts and feelings suddenly start to flood your mind?
This in turn leads to more negative thoughts regarding your current and possible future situations in your life.
Based on the Law of Attraction, these negative thoughts can then manifest into reality not because of fate, but because you actually attracted them.
This is why I say “watch what you think because you just might get it”.
Watch closely to that you think, as your thoughts are very likely to manifest into reality through the Law of Attraction.
And, remember this: the Law of Attraction does not discriminate; no one is free from this law. It is just like Law of Gravity.
Emotional Intensity is the Key
Of course you need to remember that there is also the level of intensity of emotion here in the equation – the more intense the emotions behind your thoughts and feelings, the more powerful the manifestations you attract.
Take, for example, a scale from 1 to 10. Let’s say that your negative thoughts score around 3 as far as intensity goes. You will then start attracting similar thoughts and situations congruent to that specific intensity.
So if your thoughts are full of intense emotion, let’s say on a level 10, you better watch out! This could be good or bad depending on whether you are thinking positive or negative thoughts.
To sum this up, the Law of Attraction proves that like attracts like. You can literally attract like thoughts and like situations based on what you are thinking and at what intensity level of emotion you are having at that particular time. So be sure to “watch what you think because you just might get it”.
