Winners are truly a different breed of people who believe in going far beyond what any average or ordinary human being will settle for. They are willing to do what others won’t and make the necessary sacrifices that it takes to get there.

Like the saying goes “it’s always lonely on the extra mile”. The extra mile is reserved for those who believe in settling for only the best that life has to offer. The extra mile is the place of winners.

Make a commitment to achieving your goals and you too will be ahead of the pack and you will soon find yourself running ahead on that road far ahead.

What is your business is to know your purpose in life and to have faith in a successful outcome of your desires.

When you know your purpose, God will put everything you need before you in the form of opportunities.

Whether or not you are brave enough to take advantage of these opportunities is up to you.

What is your purpose?

Just ask yourself what you love to do more than anything else in life. Now how can use this to make a contribution of service to the world?

Next ask yourself what is the outcome of this contribution?

Once you know the desired outcome and the reason that you desire that particular outcome, you are in alignment with your purpose. When you are in alignment with your purpose, then the means by which you will attain your desires will automatically follow, but only when acted upon with faith.

Be open to the “means”.

Just let things happen.

Most of all though, have faith.

When your purpose is backed by faith, everything you need to get to your goals is coming to you in the right time and in the right way.

Be open to the possibilities and allow your dreams to unfold right before your eyes.

Find your purpose and the means will surely follow.

To reach any goal or great accomplishment in life and fulfill your true potential, you must be able to move forward with the utmost certainty without anything keeping you down or holding you back. When you hold a grudge against someone or you are still holding on to something negative that happened in your past, there is no way of moving forward. If you cannot move forward then you will stay stuck in the same place in life, right where you are now.

One of the most powerful and effective way to move forward and attain happiness, health and prosperity in life is to exercise the power of forgiveness.  Forgiveness is the only way to free yourself from the ties that bind and enable you to be free to fly.

As you may know, the Law of Attraction is always in effect whether you like it or not. Through this law, you attract into your life whatever is congruent with your inner thoughts and more important your feelings. Forgiveness releases all negative emotions and creates a positive harmony between your inner world and your outer world. When you forgive you open up new healthy channels and start to attract into your life the things that you want instead of what you don’t want.

The greatest thing about forgiving is that you begin to move forward again. You start to feel “unstuck” and alive again.

It’s not always the easiest thing to do though. It takes a lot of courage, self discipline and a lot of practice to forgive the people who have wronged you in life.

When practicing forgiveness, there is one person that you MUST always remember forgive first and foremost, and that is YOU. Forgive yourself for all the mess up’s that you have made in life (remember that there are no mistakes). Forgive yourself for all of the should have, would have and could have’s and forgive yourself for all of the people that you have hurt in life.

Remember that forgiveness is just like love. In order to truly love someone you must first be able to love yourself. The same is true with forgiveness, so forgive yourself and then you will be able to go on and forgive others.

The best thing to do though is just that: do it.

Let it go.

Walk away.

Leave it all behind and never look back.

Practice forgiveness today and watch as you life opens up to new possibilities and takes a turn for the better.

Stop and think for a moment about all of the great inventions, the greatest musical compositions, the massive revolutions, the great works of art and greatest literary pieces ever written in the world. All of these historical contributions would never have occurred if it wasn’t for great dreams conjured up from the minds of great dreamers.

If it hadn’t been for great dreams, Vivaldi never would have written “The Four Seasons”, Bach “St. Matthew Passion” and Handel “Messiah”. Neither would Michelangelo have created his breathtaking work in the Sistine Chapel.

Leonardo da Vinci never would have sketched the first parachute and helicopter, painted such masterpieces such as “The Last Supper” and “Mona Lisa” or produced some of the first detailed illustrations of physiology of the human body.

And you would have never known how to “Think and Grow Rich” had it not been for the dedicated lifelong work of Napoleon Hill.

These are all examples of people who were great dreamers. They took the thoughts that were created in their own minds and molded them into an amazing reality here on the physical plane.

Every single great accomplishment in this world started out with a vision, a great dream which then led to the particular achievement. It was the individual’s courage to cultivate their dream that made the difference.

There are times in life when you are told that you can’t do something or that something you are striving for is far impossible to accomplish. The key is to listen to your heart and not the mouths of the little minds out there. As the quote above by Harriet Tubman states, you already have everything you need right inside. You also have the potential to change the world in some way, as each of these examples state.

So what are your great dreams? What great potential do you have inside of you that is just waiting to be born? Is it another great life changing book such as “Think and Grow Rich” ? Do you have the potential to create a masterpiece like Michelangelo? Or maybe it is to compose another great classical piece like Vivaldi, Bach or Handel. How about creating many great inventions such as Leonardo da Vinci?

Maybe your dream is just to make a positive difference in this world in your own special way. Whatever it may be I challenge you to dream a great dream and then go out into this world and live it. You may be surprised at what you are capable of accomplishing and may be the next great thing to go down in history.

“It’s never too late to become what you might have been.” George Eliot

When I read this quote by Eliot, I find it very fascinating and motivating as it delineates a clear vision in my mind of myself as the person I have always dreamed to be.

As I continue to focus on this vision, I feel myself smiling as it conjures up intense feelings of accomplishment, achievement and sheer happiness having ultimately overcome obstacles and having pressed onward to victory in all of my Life’s endeavors.

I see myself easily catapulting from all setbacks and extinguishing all fears that have been blocking my path to opening that door to a new chapter in Life that awaits ahead. I feel the exhilaration of standing on top of the world and being absolutely unstoppable and fearless.

I also get the intense feeling that there is ultimately still hope; a chance to become something bigger and better than I am now, aspiring to the greatest heights of my imagination and beyond.

As this vision finally starts to slowly fade, I ponder as to why so many of us don’t take that plunge into the big ocean of uncharted territories and explore the infinite puzzles of possibilities that can come to fruition.

Strive for even greater heights

I think we would all find our efforts worthwhile in that they would ultimately bring us to even greater heights than we could have ever imagined.

For those of us that invoke the courage to take on the challenge with the utmost resolve, we and only we will reap the rewards that exist beyond the safety of the shores most of us cling to and will also find a world where our hopes and dreams seem to come alive and take on forms that we never even knew existed.

The challenge to all of us though is being fearless and taking that initial plunge.

Become fearless in your quest

That word fear is what truly hinders all of us from living that life that we have always dreamed of; or in the words of Eliot “what you might have been”.

Fear is ultimately the brick wall that holds us all back from making that leap into that great ocean of the infinite. The opportunities that are available to each and every one of us are endless.

My point of this all is that it is never too late to start.

PERIOD.

So crank up the inspiration and drown out pesky fearful voice in your head and just do it. Go ahead and do something new, something that you have always wanted to do but never had the courage to start.

For me it’s writing.

For you it may be quitting your job and starting that career you always dreamed of. I did that many years ago and have never looked back ever since because it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

It may be leaving that lousy relationship that you are clinging to because you are afraid of being alone but believe me, there are bigger and better things out there.

It may even be cultivating new beliefs and values in which to live your life that may challenge existing beliefs but in the end will only serve to make you a better person.

There is always hope

Just remember that there is always the opportunity to begin anew and live the life that you have always aspired to live no matter what point in life you may be.

I have learned through many trials and tribulations that anyone can do anything that they put their mind to so put your mind to it and “become what you might have been”.
